Creative Case Study: Mackie’s new product launch

Sharp Iris has helped Mackie’s of Scotland launch Mackie’s Popcorn, a brand new product range.

Sharp Iris has creatively designed and artworked Mackie’s Popcorn packaging, along with numerous ranges owned by Mackie’s and it’s connected company Taylors.

Mackie’s work very closely with the UK’s major retailers to ensure their product is stocked nationwide. Mackie’s brand identity is fundamental to it’s success along with the impressively high quality of Mackie’s products.

Sharp Iris provides not only creative development, but also marketing and digital support to ensure the Mackie’s brand is always the consumer’s first choice in snacking.

The new popcorn product range consists of four flavours, Sweet and Salted, Butterscotch, Lightly Sea Salted and Scotch Bonnet Chilli Pepper, a flavour that comes with a warning that they are fiery hot. The pack designs fit well with Mackie’s other product ranges whilst creating a key point of difference to highlight Mackie’s move into a different snacking product type. The designs make the most of key trends in colour and visualisation, embracing pastels whilst building strength using iconic imagery.

We hope you love the designs; why not send us your feedback. The products are currently available in Sainsbury’s stores across Scotland.
